Some things are just meant to be. This can be said about Gabriela Eisenhart and interior design. Very early on in life, Gabriela understood that the most important part of interior design was how it made her feel. She proved this theory true time and time again by endlessly arranging and rearranging furniture in her childhood home — her goal was always to feel better. The daughter of Italian immigrants, she spent her childhood traveling to Italy and Monte Carlo to visit family. When she was back home in Atlanta, you could find her in her family’s restaurant, Nino’s, the oldest Italian restaurant in the city. These experiences instilled in her a love for Mediterranean culture and design. Gabriela graduated college with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in Film and Video Production.

After graduating in 2006, she worked in the film industry for several years before coming to the realization that it wasn’t her passion — but she knew what was. Gabriela reacquainted herself with interior design, pouring everything into the design of her new home in the Candler Park neighborhood of Atlanta.

Once complete, it caught the attention of everyone who knew her (and many who didn’t), which was the validation she needed to pursue a career in interior design with gusto.

In 2012, she founded her first studio, Gabriela Eisenhart Interiors. Then, in 2016, in an effort to expand her footprint, she joined forces with a Los Angeles-based interior designer to co-found WAKE + LOOM. Fast forward to 2023, and after more than a decade of entrepreneurship, she opened the doors to her third studio, Silo Studios, which she named for her two sons. Since then, with the support of her all woman team, Gabriela has transformed homes in Atlanta and beyond, making them feel good to those who inhabit them while infusing the coveted Mediterranean style into the design.

“ I believe each project and client are different and I don’t want every project to look the same. I typically come in to modernize and refresh spaces but I believe it’s incredibly important to honor a home’s original architecture. My design aesthetic is clean and eclectic but is a true marriage between my client’s story and the architecture of the home. I want people to walk into a Silo designed space and say wow, this has amazing energy and is a true reflection of the person who lives here. It’s about creating a good experience.”
